Taking at least a week to visit. Can’t wait. Mom, stepdad and grandparents are all conservative and pretty based (grandfolk are older than Israel and support..) Gonna cook em some food, we’ll play euchre, maybe get the local gun range. Honestly looking forward to seeing greyhound Joe jump up and down when I get to the door, cause he’s a good boy.

I went to silly liberal arts school for music (tech- oriented, but still BM), my 2 bros went for computer science and EET. Somehow they’re west coast lefties, and I’m an Appalachian red neck now. Christmases have been rough..

My parents want me to visit, but Dad just HAD to tell me last week about his 4th coooooovid shot. I have no desire to see them. I'll bet he would wear a mask the whole time I'm there, and use lots of hand sanitizer.

The entire message is one of separation, division, aloneness, and it is designed to destroy extended families, which are an immense source of moral and spiritual strength.

Sounds like a good time Serfer. My own family get togethers is a tad too mixed (my older brother and his wife having been federal employees and lifelong liberal democrats), younger brother was the GM of a large company and a Trump supporter. The discussions can get pretty intense after a couple of cocktails.

It’s gonna be nice. Hmm thinkin about all the things I wanna cook. First up is stuffed mushrooms in the air fryer. I want to see what fer ground lamb and cheese is good. With plenty of herbs, apparently Panko crumbs are good in em to add some crunch.

Last time I think, we did a stupid big breakfast, steak and eggs with sausage, bacon, hash browns etc. We’re not lards, just like eatin good ha
