Doesn't the problem start with the concept of gender in the first place? The idea that it is necessary to have another word defining the concepts of biological sex, without being a synonym?
...and is enabled and encouraged by schools, doctors, politicians and media.
Transgenderism arises in the brain so it should be observable in the brain.
As fact, we can see transgenderism on brain scans. You can't fake neuronal firing. What a biological male - who says he is transgender male to female - looks like in brain scans is a combination of both male and female brain patterns but mostly female brain patterns. The same holds true for female to male brains.
However, what I do not know is if we have quantified on a sliding scale where male and female patterns fall and if we can give a strength rating to how male or female a brain is.
You know what we do not see in brain scans? Nonbinary bullshit. It doesn't exist. It's made up bullshit teens come up with to feel special. Some never grow out of it.
This is what i think happens, at least to the extent that any real male/female "change" happens at all. It's clearly a disorder, and there is proof of it being fixed this way as well. The most interesting part is that the anecdotal evidence that caused studies was from "Trans" peoples feedback when going on hormones
It seems that a hormonal change (switching to estrogen, or testosterone) brings out many of the stereotypical behaviors and mental states of the associated gender. So a male trying to transition to female will then state that all the irrationalness, over-active emotions and such that women are known for end up happening within them. With females doing the same thing, others will notice them getting calmer, (prior to the freak-out when they realize men have to earn their place in the world)
It's also seen that a "trans" person, even one not on estrogen, will stop with the trans shit when given testosterone. So it can be fixed via hormones as well. We all know that the average t levels in males has been going down for a long time, so i suspect that this surge in "trans" bullshit is social pressures of the day, aided by low T soy-boy males being more feminine in the way they react to things.
Now, i'm in no way saying they are a woman in a mans body, I'm merely saying that evidence suggests that a male with T blockers and taking estrogen will have more feminine tendencies. Without the current social pressure they'd probably be depressed, off themselves, or they'd work hard and fix their shit, but in todays world, where not only are you bombarded with trans propaganda, but life is handed to a woman on a silver platter (i mean honestly, it makes logical sense to want the benefits that women get in our society, especially attractive women, whose life is so easy mode that it should be considered a superpower).
It seems that a hormonal change (switching to estrogen, or testosterone) brings out many of the stereotypical behaviors and mental states of the associated gender.
You're not wrong. They are temperament influencing "drugs." They definitely affect the brain.
Also, acting like a woman (if you're a man) should rewire your brain. One of my buddies, who is a neuroscientist, talked about the chicken or the egg: were their brains like this before or did living the lifestyle cause their brains to rewire (neuroplasticity) to make it observable?
Similar things apply to homosexuals: we can look at a brain and see what a homosexual male brain looks like (their brains light up when they see attractive men in the same way male brains light up when they see attractive women...meaning...they are legit and genuinely attracted to men).
