The last several years have cause my immediate family and I to re-evaluate who we choose to allow social access to us. I have been greatly blessed in that my immediate family remains a cohesive unit, with a single face turned outwards towards all others. The separation is between those of us who choose to seek to serve truth, goodness, and beauty, and those who knowingly or unknowingly choose to seek to serve lies, evil, ugliness and death.
We have chosen to separate ourselves from those who choose to exist in a constant state of fear. We don't hate those who live in fear, we simply don’t have much to say to those who spend their days running in circles with their hair on fire, jumping at every shadow projected on the wall, while at the same time ignoring the very real threats to themselves and their families.
They not only refuse to see the truth, see things as they are and prepare to act on it, but they actively undermine the efforts of those who do, because either consciously or unconsciously, they would prefer that when the fire comes that we should all burn together, than that anyone else should buy fire-hoses and in so doing survive and in not burning, prove to them conclusively that they chose wrong.
I see this most often in people who have taken the stab. They suddenly become prophets of the stab, encouraging, even demanding that everyone get stabbed because they fear having chosen wrong. We have been ostracized by people we once thought to be friends over this issue.
Now, in the cold clear light of day, with more new information coming in every day, it is becoming more and more clear to them that they chose wrong, but there's no going back now.
