If the pattern holds then eventually there won't be a middle class. It will be the rich and the poor, with a wide gulf in between.

I was just discussing this today with some friends. I was a bit surprised how everyone was aware of this trend. The aristocratic class is breeding and the slave class is breeding. They have been teaching the middle class for 40 years that it is “too expensive to have children.”

That's not optimal.
