Because if you are public school teacher, your participation in the union is mandatory by law.
Yet here we have a scenario where your dues paid union representation may now become less weighted because of your race.
Discrimination based on race is illegal in Canada.

The cruel / funny part is that in order to enhance the illusion they conveniently forgot to inform the citizens that it was an illusion. Canadians think the country is real. They think their vote matters. They haven't read the fine print.
Now it's too late to tell them.

I hope they do this in America so that we can use the new law to also reinstate the 3/5 compromise for Black men and while we’re at it we can make any woman’s vote worth 1/5.
