I hate "boomer"/"zoomer" bullshit. You are a person, and a label like that makes you seem less than one. They call themselves that, but I would never call them that, I want to have respect for them, but that's a different issue. Parents are the kind that follow the goo-tube and really glued to election (in Canadaland). When they tried to talk about certain 'NPC issues' and I blew them off. "If I wanted to hear about the NPC talking points, I'd listen to the goo-tube, I don't want to hear it reiterated from you." I did not actually say this. So they got mad that "I don't listen" It got me thinking, I do actually listen to them. When they speak from the heart, I listen to their words, their love and advice. I guess what irritates them is that I listen to God and not woke, I reject their worship.
