I hate "boomer"/"zoomer" bullshit. You are a person, and a label like that makes you seem less than one. They call themselves that, but I would never call them that, I want to have respect for them, but that's a different issue.

Parents are the kind that follow the goo-tube and really glued to election (in Canadaland). When they tried to talk about certain 'NPC issues' and I blew them off. "If I wanted to hear about the NPC talking points, I'd listen to the goo-tube, I don't want to hear it reiterated from you." I did not actually say this. So they got mad that "I don't listen"

It got me thinking, I do actually listen to them. When they speak from the heart, I listen to their words, their love and advice. I guess what irritates them is that I listen to God and not woke, I reject their worship.

Thanks for sharing dude. Let me share a piece of advice I always give to all employees when this conversation comes up: Family first, family only, no matter what.

I know you are only talking about a tiny thing and it's frustrating, but I just want to throw in that family above all is the most important value. No matter what they do, no matter what they say, never give up on them and just spend time with them. Time is all that matters.

The reason for that is that every man learns a final lesson when he lowers the bodies of his parents into their graves.

I can't tell you what that lesson is, you will just have to find out when it's your turn. Don't let a single moment to waste between now and then.

Glad you are here, I hope you bring new light and new insight to our side. Our side values the old ways, worships our old gods and honours our parents for the gifts that our ancient gods have given us.

Strive to build your own LARGE family and teach your children our ways so that one day your death teaches them the final lesson as well.
