There are solar events that are so powerful the atmosphere still let's enough energy through that can really screw up radio communications and modern electronics. It's not something that caused too many problems in the past due to the lack of things like the internet and microcircuits.

You're doing it wrong. Remember the evil jews and their propensity to invert reality. Well, if you flip intense darkness into intense light, and vice versa within yourself, you create a magnetic field with your brain and heart, that other magnetic fields can then interact with. Electromagnetism has both electrical and magnetic components, you cannot have one without the other.
You can't do this if you don't know yourself though, and you can't know yourself if you're not honest with yourself. You'll know you're dishonest with yourself because you act unethically. Nothing else matters in life most people have to live several lifetimes to learn that lesson, in a way it's better to take several lifetimes. The discovery is unsettling and requires being very gentle.
