if this is true, i would say 99.9% chance the family either had some insaney dominant genetic disease, were heavily imbred, or were extremely fat with imbalanced nutrition and no exercise. the statistical probability of 12 people dying from a disease with 99.7% survival rate is practically non existent, even if you did the math with 95% survival rate the probability doesnt look good even using the most conservative estimates
