Back in the cold war days, while living in London, I met a girl from Russia. Very attractive older teen. She told me that I was too young to be an American spy, so why was i talking to her. Just off the top, I said that I knew about her father and was keeping an eye on her. Crap. Her demeanor turned very cold and she left the restaurant. American silly humor falls flat all around the world. My autism didn't help either.
