Food self sufficiency I think is key to weathering an economic crisis. Also access to fresh water.

As long as everyone has those we can continue to argue about the value of gold, bitcoin, currencies, so on and so forth.

What are your guy's thoughts? I was just thinking of something simple that everyone could do with the least amount of $$ investment.

You'd be surprised how many people wouldn't be able to hunt efficiently. Mostly city dwellers I'd imagine. I wonder if their behavior out of a city would be like a plague of locusts on the surrounding countryside?

Probably, hence the gun advocacy.

Your best chance, unless you already homestead is to stock up and hope when it runs out the die off is great enough.

Eh, from what I've read forming a community ( small and close knit ) is best. No one makes it alone.
