If he were a cop then it might be a good thing, but if she had a kid he'd basically be a single father as she wouldn't be around to raise the kid. Even if she weren't a workaholic, the hours she works wouldn't have her around for the kid.
Frankly it would probably be better that way, he could just use his wife like a surrogate and have someone else help him actually raise the kid. Then the absentee mother would be a case-in-point against feminism for the kid.
But she doesn't want to have a kid as it would slow down her career. Women having a "side hustle" is fine, women having careers is cancer.
