I played music with this weasel for many years. I know he's a lib weenie, but a great guy in all other ways. Today we met at a pub for lunch, and right away two masked waitresses confronted me at the door. Fren was wearing a mask when he stepped OUT OF THE CAR, and still had it on. I did not. They said I can't come in. I said 'how will I eat?' I looked around, a few feet away were dozens of people eating and drinking. Girls said I have to go, I said 'fuck this shit' and left. Weenie fren came after me, full of rage, spewing statistics about muh covid. I just left. I cannot believe he didn't have my back, and is such a fuckin coward. I do not ever wanna see him again, and that sucks, but he repels me now in a way I never felt before. I have nothing left to say to him. Very fuckin sad, and disgusting.

Don't blame him, just back off for a while. Look at it like this - the brainwashing that has been force-fed to everyone about this scam is extremely strong, some don't even know they are being force-fed because it's just so pervasive and all-encompassing. It's hard not to buy into it because it's like the air - it's all around you and you breathe it all day.

I'm not apologizing for the guy's actions, but sometimes you have to let someone burn themselves before they understand the fire is hot.

Fuck it. He’s too good for his friends. I basically have one or two left and if they walk away or if I walk away from them, I don’t give a shit. I really don’t. Maybe I’m a sociopath, but I can turn that off really easily. You pull this mask bullshit on me and I want nothing to do with you. If you live and let live, you go ahead and wear yours, and I won’t wear mine. And that’s fine.You try to talk me into it? I’m going to tell you know. If you don’t let it go, you’re gone. You’re not my friend anymore. Period. Never had a ton of friends because I’m a dickhead, but the ones I had, are mostly gone now and I’m better for it.

It's just sickening, we have a long history of music and frenship, and now I couldn't care less anymore. He is TOTALLY brainwashed. I sent him dozens of articles about masks being totally ineffective against viruses, about how Sweden and Belarus had no mandates and life there is fine, etc etc. All useless. I give up.
