It is the left that destroys infrastructure. However if it goes down it will be guerrilla attacks on the cities and retreats back to the country. There is no reason at all to "capture" a city. Let the left keep them, along with the welfare niggers, the aging infrastructure and the expensive subway and road systems.
The only "great reset" needed is for Congress and the executive branch to follow the Constitution. You don't do that by "taking over" you do that by taking the power away from the self chosen few and giving it back to the people.
