I also have them and they freak me the fuck out too. I read up on them and even though I know they eat other bugs I'm just too fucking creeped out by them to NOT terminate on sight!! They are so goddamn fast that my kill ratio is about one success to five attempts.

We get deer ticks carrying West Nile virus and other bad shit - and these centipedes eat those too.

Anything that might live behind the base boards.
