Both sides of my family weren't even in America during the period before the civil war. My wifes family has a line that goes back to the revolutionary war but they never owned slaves and amounted to essentially sharecroppers who hardly owned anything. They dont care about reparations or slavery. This is just a stronger group robbing a weaker group of it's resources before killing them. There is no logic that will sway them. They only understand brute force.
