The land was used for housing highway workers over 100 years ago.

The wife had this delivered to add to the site. Do you know what it is?

A&F Brown Co 1912? https://pic8.co/sh/aa8tWl.jpg

Some type of gear maybe? Idk.

I like the smokehouse. It was recently rejuvenated.

Very cool! Love the logs.

That is a gear that could have been used on many different machines circa 1900. Powered by wind, hydro, steam or hit-or-miss engines.

I was just going to mention I've seen gears like that on mill's, both stone and grain, from that time period.

Thank you for sharing that with me. I love the smokehouse may build one just like it.

I'd imagine the Ozarks would be a great place to get away.

It definitely is. Especially if you love nature as much as I do.

I only love nature if there's not many people.

I'm on the Southside in NW Arkansas. There's no people around at all in my area.

Sometimes when I go a little east to hike around waterfalls, or go see the elk, I do see a few people. White families, occasionally Asians, but never other races.

I have a bat cave, its fully furnished so I can be there for days hunting, and never see a soul.

The A & P Brown Co of Oklahoma was incorporated in 1920 and 1922. Beyond that, I have no information.

A & F Brown Co. out of NYC, I think. I found some old ads but nothing shown matches the picture.

Ok, hard to tell in the picture.

That gear looks similar to one my uncle had which ran a large saw that he used to cut trees into boards.
