We own a tree company, and most of the time, we only cut down hazardous trees. The last 2 pecans were cracking and over someones entire house, it was full of nuts. So I have all kinds of logs everywhere.

Wow. Now I'm a little sad. But, you did an awesome job! And the wood will certainly be put to a Great use! BBQ is hard to beat!

It's better to cut it down before it kills somebody. Lots of straight line winds and tornadoes around here. Pecans are plentiful where I live. I have 5 pecan trees, and some chestnuts, and many fruit trees.

Oh, I know. It's best to cut them before they fall. I think you are fortunate to have the pecans. I'm just a little bit to north for them to do anything here. There are a few in this area but they don't produce good nuts. I have many fruit trees here myself. I need some nut bearing trees badly! Only one black walnut tree, and it is growing into the power lines! I might need to hire you to cut it for me. Hahaha! JK. I will cut it myself.
