Awesome work.
Thanks.
Had they stopped producing nuts?
Thank you, by the way! I had not thought of that. My property is covered with wild cherry. I bet a BBQ place just might be interested in it.
Pecans are my favorite of all kinds of tree nuts. One of the best things ever is to run some through a food processor until fine, mix with your favorite pepper powder and some brown sugar, pack that blend on some bacon!!! Bake it in the oven, (like they were little jews), until they are as done as you like them, I like mine chewy. If a piece of that got on your forehead your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it!
We own a tree company, and most of the time, we only cut down hazardous trees. The last 2 pecans were cracking and over someones entire house, it was full of nuts. So I have all kinds of logs everywhere.
Wow. Now I'm a little sad. But, you did an awesome job! And the wood will certainly be put to a Great use! BBQ is hard to beat!
It's better to cut it down before it kills somebody. Lots of straight line winds and tornadoes around here. Pecans are plentiful where I live. I have 5 pecan trees, and some chestnuts, and many fruit trees.
Nice job. I have a contact in ATX & another in Lulling that buys firewood for their restaurants at great prices. If you need/want them, I can send.
