What would you have them do about it? Stop allowing Nestle to pump all their water and sell it for profit? Or maybe you'd prefer they stop dumping fresh water into the ocean to protect endangered species?

[–] 2 pts

they dont just pump California water, CA demands water from everyone else to be sent to them. They allow Nestle to pump it for free, water goes to the coast for swimming pools and lawns. The farmers gets pushed to use less water or switch to crops that use less water. then they let any excess dump into the ocean.

whats a reservoir for $500, Alex?

[–] 1 pt

What? That would cause the political parties to run out of money!!!

But Ethos and Nestle water bottling operations are still going full tilt.

[–] 2 pts

Yea and they buy entire lakes for like a few hundred bucks and sell it for more than gasoline per litre.

I don’t care so long as people continue to focus on important things like making sure we protect all 218 recognized genders.

All the desalination methods and they are an ocean facing state and they don't do a fucking thing. Sun plus salt water = collect evaporation and pump inland. The stupid voters should be demanding this shit but they think they're smart so they're fucking ignorant fucks.

Look at fucking Israel biggest fucking desalination in the world but California's to fucking worried about queers and Mexican illegals to spare a dime on what would be the greatest thing they could ever do for that land. They could actually change it to agricultural but no one's got the vision or desire for real projects just faggot shit stuff.

They'd rather build giant battery plants using thousands of tons of lithium.

Yeah like CO2 either bury it in barrels or use fake trees to collect it. Yeah not the obvious solution that is natural. Plant fucking trees. I see that the government needs to pay back campaign "bribes" contributions with the worst solution though there is no real problems just the media fucking everyone over by saying this is a fucking problem.

I like Sam Kenisons solution, "You live in a fucking desert!!!" "move to where the fucking food is!!!"

[–] 2 pts

thats a stupid solution, kikepuppets deserve and should be kept in their desert with military force.

The problem is finding a place to store the leftover brine. That shit will kill anything, so dumping back in the ocean is a really bad idea.

The brine can be put back but at a constant to a varied area so have like a conveyor belt that dumps at various distances. Also have it premixed with regular saltwater "just slightly saltier than normal seawater" so it's not as concentrated as straight salt and if done as fast as it builds up and find a current so it'll be dragged off where you build the conveyor or pipe line.

Also can have Morton or other salt retailer or northern state take the salt for free. Just have to clean the other stuff like plankton out of it or not.

Yeah. Good luck getting the company in charge of that to not simply bribe the inspectors and just dump the lot of it into the sea.

why not just turn the brine into salt? pour the brine into reservoirs, let the sun finish the process, then scrape the salt crystals out?

Sell it as exfoliating hand wash.

Whatever happened to that dam that collapse and spilled trillions of gallons of water?

[–] 2 pts

They just let it run till they could cork it again and fix the spillway.

You know what they need? More immigration ( more showers, etc) and the dams opened to save the smelt.

[–] 0 pt

it all gets pumped to the coast for green lawns, swimming pools and and excess gets dumped into the ocean, and nestle.

Ag uses 80% of Cal's water supply. https://pacinst.org/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/CA-Ag-Water-Use.pdf Almonds, a chief export crop is especially thirsty to grow; and then there's Nestle's $1.00 permit to pump all it wants. So blame it on the giant corps in reality, or them damn immigrants here on poal.

Where is this? Folsom (spelled differently) doesn’t have floating docks... Fulsom doesn’t exist.

[–] 1 pt

Folsom does have floating docks at browns ravine.

[–] 1 pt

my bad on spooling of Folsom, but goat doks at the marina are a thing when there's water http://www.californiasgreatestlakes.com/folsom/folsom_boating.html

Couldn’t see them on a satellite view, went around the lake twice...
