Lol, Almost guaranteed true, I wouldn't bet against that. I haven't really researched to compare, but I was under the impression those 50 cal miniballs from the civil war era were really really nasty. Those don't look like .50 wounds so I wonder what they were using.

You can squirrel hunt with a .32 ball (some do use bigger calibers tho), so they do make smaller calibers.
That must be closer to what they used here. Imagine trying to load your muzzle loader while you get peppered with a submachine gun. I almost feel for them, almost.
