He had been a soldier in the first World War and understood what made the heart beat made the body and mind strong
"A rotten body is not in the least made more aesthetic by a brilliant mind, nay, highest training of the mind could not at all be justified if its bearers were at the same time physically degenerated and crippled beings, irresolute and weak in character, hesitating and cowardly. What makes the Greek ideal of beauty immortal is the wonderful combination of the most glorious physical beauty with a brilliant mind and the noblest soul"
He had been a soldier
That's the same thought that this photo invokes in me. I know he was a runner by fucking volunteer in WW1. He never truly stopped being a warrior and soldier.
I often question whether Hitler actually committed suicide, or was killed by some Allied/Soviet assets. Suicide seems very out of character for Hitler, but perhaps he knew what was going to be done to him- he was absolutely going to be tortured ruthlessly, whether captured by the Soviets or Americans. It's just such a shame that he wasn't around to defend himself from all of the absurd claims that were leveled at him over the decades. It's a shame that he couldn't give an explanation in say, the 1980s, from prison or w/e. Or maybe he actually escaped to Brazil or something...
They lie about absolutely everything we see it every day, there is no way we can trust their stories from almost a century ago.
I think he escaped, why wouldn't he if he had the chance? I'm almost certain they had a contingency plan for escape and executed on it.
