All of the stuff is on my workbench. No one else is here but me. Yet a vital piece of the item has simply vanished into thin air. Where the fuck did it go? I've found things I didn't remember having in my search, and it's not there.

Doesn't your "all knowing surveillance network" keep track of these items? As a bird, it is your job to keep track of everything around you.

We keep track of people, not parts. And since Cooper is dead, he falls outside of our contractual agreements.
