>A government is the system or group of people governing an organized community, generally a state. In the case of its broad associative definition, government normally consists of legislature, executive, and judiciary. Government is a means by which organizational policies are enforced, as well as a mechanism for determining policy .

Use any analogue you would like, but I'm going to choose cars. Computers are in everything though, as is government since they're the same. The original 'danger Ranger' was a five speed manual without a computer. You could chuck it into gear, and if it ground a little bit you still didn't have to worry about much. Probably just replace the clutch.

Let's talk about refrigerators. I don't actually want to talk about refrigerators, but they are governed by computers too. Your fridge, which serves exactly one purpose, needs computer control . It's just supposed to be a compressor on a timer. Things were better that way.

Mine was made 15 years ago and it doesn't need a computer to do its functions.

It's just supposed to be a compressor on a timer.

Um, you don't know how refrigerators work. They use thermostats not timers.

Things were better that way.

Yes and no. There's been lots of older appliances/devices that were garbage even if they had no computers. Just because it's older or simpler does not mean it is better.

Newer also does not imply better, and a thermostat is a timer based on temperature.

Morbo: What time is it?

TIMRN: It's 75 degrees PM.

Morbo: Are you a retarded nigger?
