Browser addons especially like to do that. They open up a page, asking "why would you delete us???". If the website allows feedback, I usually type "you will never be a woman, jeet", that's why.

How about audio CDs that surreptitiously installs root kits? That's the best!

Never was victim to Sony's crap but I would've been pissed. Think I had switched to Linux already.

It was fucking hilarious when that guy sent a copied audio CD (forget the trash band) to the CEO. Sony had spent something like $10 million at the time to develop the root kit and copy protection.

Literally all it took to defeat it was not autorunning things that were inserted. It's like putting a wire tie around your doorknob to keep people from opening the door.
