I'm trying to order some parts for a Hallicrafters S38-C rebuild, and the only method the company takes is paypal.

Normally you can just pay as a guest, and not create an account with the processor - just like every other payment processor in the world, but not with this place. I suspect it's more of a "I don't know what I'm doing" with the company but still. paypal just sucks, it sucks bad, and it's sucked since the day it was created.

Why do companies still use that payment processor? They have such inane walking on glass policies that it's only a matter of time before you get burnt with them.

They definitely shouldn't.

  1. They helped end Voat.

  2. Amendments to the PayPal Privacy Statement (Effective October 16, 2020)
