I have a very severe, very rare post birth defect. It's a mix between a terminal lung disease, cardiovascular problem, tendon elasticity problem and cognitive issue. Think cystic fibrosis with tachycardia, with a mix of mild dementia. The prognosis is ... shit to say the least. Some of the major problems though that have become worst over time are becoming even more apparent now. I noticed that my lungs sound horrible, and have become so reactive to the elements, i get sick close to once a week. I can barely do any exercise anymore, since that make me sick too. Sadly I know how this ends, and it ends in a corpse, and the severity of the symptoms tell me that the condition is accelerating in its decline. I could get away with being healthy looking 10 years ago, but now, its become clear my body is failing on me. The problem is its getting really hard to bullshit this disease as inconsequential at this point

we're all slowly dying

from the second we are born.

Yeah, not really. Life has an arc. It defines a curve on a graph. We are like flowers. We bloom, then we blow. During the blooming phase, we get stronger and better. Then we reach a break-even point, and start to fall down the backside of the curve. It's not all downhill from day one.

I will pray for you. I do not share what you have but I do understand pain. You will have a new body one day. Sometimes God removes things so that he may add onto. God Bless!

Would TRIKAFTA help you? It has been working miracles with actual CF patients. Or is it not a drug your ailment is a candidate for? If I were in your shoes I think I would move to Estes Park, CO. It's the place where Tuberculosis patients went in olden days due to the weather and climate helping them to breathe easier. At the very least, the scenery there is so beautiful it's not a bad place to spend remaining years. I would also look into water fasting, especially for the mild dementia as water fasting studies have demonstrated it can help to rid the brain of lewy bodies.

I do wish you healthier days and will pray for you.

Today you are not dead, and you're still functional, that's for the good news

Now the bad news is that one day you'll be completely screwed by your condition and you'll die

And it's not today

Take the time to listen to this. I mean really listen to it: https://youtu.be/B-5G4D-CddQ

I’m not just spouting theory at you. I was healed of a terminal illness as an infant. Science and doctors couldn’t and didn’t do anything for me. I wasn’t supposed to live to be 3 months old. I’m in my early 40’s now.

Luckily for me, I have family who actually believes what the Bible says. They claimed my healing through their authority in Christ. Against all scientific/fleshly odds. Arrogant doctors telling them I would die and just to give up on me. I could go on and on. Our God is bigger than all of that.

Jesus is the same today as he ever was. The new covenant is no different now than it was in the time of Acts. We are what’s changed. Churches and most Christians don’t preach or exercise the authority given to them anymore. It’s a shame, but it’s the truth.

And don’t even question whether it’s God’s will for you to be healed. It is his will for everyone to be healed.

I assume you’re a Christian by your handle. Ok then, you already qualify.

Watch the video and listen closely.

You made it into adulthood. Congratulations, you beat out millions around the world who die in childhood every year. We're all going to die. None of us get out of this alive. If you worship the Devil and drink baby blood, you may be able to extend your normal lifespan by around 20 years, but after that you die anyway. We're all going through the same gate. What happens then is a matter of religious faith. But the one certainty in life is death. So if you die a few decades earlier than someone else, is that really the end of the world? You got to do dumb shit like the rest of us. You got to post on the Internet. You enjoyed the taste of macaroni. You stepped into a cold shower. You stubbed your toe. You cried yourself to sleep at night over the unbearable tragedy of human existence, just like the rest of us. Enjoy what you've got left, when you can. That's all any of us can do.

How old are you?

[–] 1 pt

What are you going to do about it?

[–] 0 pt

Based on your username, I go based on the assumption that you are religious.

If you are religious, doesn't your religion dictate that "God" wants you to experience this?

If so, how do you reconcile that?

[–] 0 pt

No. God doesn’t want anyone to experience that. You’re getting God confused with the unemployed cherub.

It sounds like someone fed you a very perverted version of the gospel. I’d be happy to set it straight if you like.

[–] 0 pt

Sure, go for it.

Many before you have tried. Maybe you'll be different, right?

[–] 0 pt

It sounds like you already have your mind made up about what the gospel says, which is a different situation than what I originally interpreted your comment to mean

Originally, I thought you meant that some “Christians” somewhere told you that God wanted people to be sick..so your understanding of the Bible is based solely on someone else’s poor interpretation which was given to you.

But now it seems like, no, that’s your own interpretation and you’re sticking with it.

Which is it?

You form your own reality, and for your own reasons, decided to be born with those limitations. You are one with God and have infinite time and infinite lives, this is just one of them.

Enjoy your life, make it worth living, trust God, and trust yourself. You will be allright, since you are an eternal being beyond your physical body.

I recommend this amazing book called "The Way Towards Health":

You might be interested to learn how ketone metabolism is more efficient than glucose metabolism. What the fuck does that have to do with your condition? Well, most dementias are related to impaired glucose metabolism in the brain. Basically your brain is starving for energy and cells are dying because they can't get enough. Ketones produce more energy with the same blood supply, so people with circulating ketones have improved cognitive function. Also, perhaps helpful to you is ketones are more efficient everywhere in your body. People with circulating ketones have better endurance than people who do not.

It's really easy to get circulating ketones: stop eating carbohydrates and eat more fat. Basically ditch the bread, pasta, potatoes, and sugar and start eating more steak, bacon, butter, and eggs. Worst case it doesn't do anything for you, best case it changes your life.
