Is your mind so small that you only see pie and bread? Where do other foods like cake, cookies, muffins, scones, croissants, brownies, candies, confections, fudge or any of the many more things besides pie and bread to squabble over. Meat is at the top of the human food list but that does not make us any less an omnivore. There's nothing "basic" about what I choose for food.
