That was the stupidest crap I’ve seen. A family standing hundreds of feet away from anyone with fresh air coming straight off the ocean and police pullling up and telling them they need to leave or be arrested. If the pandemic had been real the interaction would’ve been the most dangerous for both parties. We went down a few months later, masks required everywhere and they had people at stores/restaurants squirting hand sanitizer on your hands as you entered and only X amount of people at a time. That night we went out to a bar for locals and when we walked in with our masks on I pointed at mine and the bartender said “you can take that fucking thing off, we only have to fk that for the daytime tourists” lmao. It was an amazing night, gave him a $100 tip and he stayed open an extra hour and the drinks were flowing.
