Same here. I can do the basics. Change tires, oil, brakes. That's about the extent of my knowledge though.
My little boy and girl will show me that they can change a tire before they ever get behind the wheel.
Even if you've never done it, it tells you how in the manual :P
Yeah. I've done more complicated things by using the manual and youtube but I still wouldn't say I'm knowledgeable about those things. I would still need assistance if I needed to do it again.
Honestly I'd probably look up the manual to find the right place to stick the jack (that's what she said), but beyond that it's pretty easy.
Manual...the one that is almost always missing?
It's only missing on cold rainy nights when your tire blows out. The manual fairies take it into custody in case you lose it in the dark. Helpful of them.
