The only time I wasn't able to change my own tire was when i discovered the used car I bought 5 years prior didn't have it's tire iron, so I had to have my friend bring me one.

I've since learned the method where you sit in the car and let your wife do it.
Reminder to check on the one you have too. My dad had his iron but the nuts were these two piece deals that had swollen and the iron no longer fit on. Had to go one size up to make it work.

Scissor jacks are really strong for their size and weight, which is why they include them, but you should make sure yours works and that you are comfortable operating it. Women, older men, and faggots may all have trouble using one.
