The problem is that you have an infinite money supply, that's the loophole, generating an infinite realm of possibilities. Infinite misallocation of capital and funding of very dumb ideas for far too long often without any obligation of result, being one of them. Factor that by tangent to infinity and you have a very long train of abuse leading to a fucking disaster of biblical proportions
The only way to restrict the size and scope of .gov is to reduce its budget/backing/fuel. Nobody's going to work for free on somebody else's problems, or so few they'll inevitably be confronted with "material feasibility" with anything large scale
And that point in time, where .gov is reduced in scope and size for lack of financial resources, will happen, the easy or the hard way, it has to happen
For america and europe it's fucked, it will happen the hard way; .gov and all its parasites depending on it to survive will go bust. From there, people will be forced to live without .gov, because it's just not going to respond, it's not going to be there, it's only going to pretend to exist and god help us all because that's where the course of events is leading us to, right now, that's the slippery slope we're sliding in, at full speed and since far too long already
