I didn't know about the multiple stings, I thought it was just 1 jab to the heart.

I don't intend to start a conspiracy theory or anything , but I had no idea stingrays stung multiple times. Generally, it's sting, then swim away. Did he accidentally pin a stingray down for multiple seconds, while being repeatedly stabbed in the chest? I know nothing of the actual incident, but evidently (with a quick internet search) there was only one other person who witnessed this encounter.
