I think you are underestimating the programming. Someone who is christian, who is taught probably their entire lives to ignore the worldly, to ignore their own thoughts and feelings, are told that these are god's chosen people and those who bless them will in turn be blessed, cannot be swayed by such uncomfortable evidence. They live by faith, not by facts. It is as insidious as it is ingenious in its ability to manipulate and convince people to stand on ideals that are in fact only lies. Heartbreaking and mind boggling.

Christians don't believe jews are the chosen people, they killed Jesus ffs.

I'm going to assume you're pulling my leg making such an outrageous claim. Or else you are just refusing to accept that such people are "true" christians. I assure you they consider themselves christian, they just interpret the translated words differently.

Perhaps, I don't mean to offend. I was raised Catholic, so I only can only share that perspective. The Israelites (as a race) were the chosen people of the Old Testament, but God sent Jesus down to save them from their greed and their pride. The New Testament isn't very friendly to jews and seems to praise Gentiles more. I remember growing up there was some weird animosity towards them in my community.

I don’t know one Christian outside of guys that run mega churches who aren’t at least a little bit clued in.

I'm sure different denominations have different approaches to things, which is why they have different denominations since they can't ever agree on anything. Granted it has been quite a few years now since I stepped foot inside a church, but the charismatic types that I was around would never turn against the jews. Also exactly the type that would be Qberts.

BTW, I don't know which Mike Nelson your name refers to but I'm a big fan of this guy (img2.wikia.nocookie.net)

Happy feelings every time I see your posts.
