Perhaps, I don't mean to offend. I was raised Catholic, so I only can only share that perspective. The Israelites (as a race) were the chosen people of the Old Testament, but God sent Jesus down to save them from their greed and their pride. The New Testament isn't very friendly to jews and seems to praise Gentiles more. I remember growing up there was some weird animosity towards them in my community.
This is what other christians refer to as "replacement theology". For anyone interested, here is a link with a full explanation of this belief: https://hebrew4christians.com/Articles/Blessing_the_Jews/blessing_the_jews.html
There are plenty of very large charismatic churches that preach this, still believe the instructions from the old testament. I even attended sedar meals for passover. They intermingle with jews for jesus. These types are big on prophesy, still have people who jump up and make prophesies in "tongues" (blather in nonsense) and interpretations, are constantly looking for signs and seasons, awaiting The Rapture. Just about everything short of snake handling.
