i've seen them call people unpaid shills, and essentially their just "accusing" someone of having a stance with the connotation that they don't like that stance. This boils down to them simply swearing at who they're talking to.
I've heard "cognitive dissonance" used to describe someone with multiple political beliefs that the boomer/gen x'er doesn't like, and they're not even close to contrary beliefs. Again, just a swear word a.k.a. pejorative.
I've also heard "troll" misused repeatedly. This one actually happens all over the internet, but I'm starting to gather that boomers and gen x'ers never used it correctly, and I think they may have been that ones who started its incorrect usage. From my view, true internet trolling stopped being a thing online is a few phases. 2010 was the first obvious dip in the quality and frequency of trolling online, then 2013 it pretty much was on its last breaths and by 2014 it was completely gone as we knew it. The ONLY thing I have seen since that gets people fired the fuck up and is trolling as it used to exist pre-2010 online is going into a forum and saying THE EARTH IS FLAT, and making easily defeated arguments with conviction to them. That will piss off so many people so bad (and here's where the word trigger has its true meaning as well), and you put very little effort into getting such a large reaction from so many people, all while taking minuscule or zero damage yourself from your actions. There was one more topic that could mass trigger people too, but I forgot what it was. And these are the only two topics that I've seen since 2013 that troll people in the true sense of the term.
More on this:
Anyone getting trolled pre 2010 (2009 or earlier) was legitimately triggered in the true sense of the term, but "triggering" someone does not entail they're being trolled. All trolling requires triggering though. Further, the triggering must happen to a substantial group of people AND the troll has to take very little harm in return for their immediate actions but usually they would never take even a small amount of harm; the vast majority of trolling pre-2010 resulted in exactly no harm to the troll. One final requirement: ideally, and in most cases, the troll should take minimal effort to pull off.
These elements put together is what made trolling so special, and it's how the word came into popular usage. If you didn't use the internet consistently before the year 2010 you probably never witnessed a good troll nor have you pulled off one with the above requirements. And as time moves forward from there the quality of trolling and frequency greatly reduced, and this was because of smartphones enabling normies, boomers, faggots and negro folk (they're basically all the same category -.-) onto the internet.
update: holy fucking shit, within 1 minute of having posted this post, i check my messages, and a boomer q tard misused the word shill, spelling it "schill" (implying they're scotish). https://poal.co/s/Politics/275675/cdcf7905-22f6-4436-a39d-89eb4e6a3fef#cmnts@Capple4you faggot, check out this post. I wasn't lying about making it. lol
Here's the comment in case they delete it out of embarrassment:
We see the propaganda every night on any MSM station you turn on your television. Have you ever stopped to wonder if it is you who have gone down the rabbit hole? Funny that you believe that I am less intelligent because I have an opinion that differs from yours. Where as you are the almighty intelligence that knows all. I think we should provide you with a nickname. Perhaps OZ since you know so much more then all us peasants. Then again that maybe a bit to much and we should just call you another schill.
We know it's a boomer because they admitted to watching television news.
