Buildings, machinery, heavy equipment, commercial fishing boats, farm tractors and equipment along with many other types of durable goods are regularly depreciated every year by businesses in accordance with the IRS tax schedule for the respective business.
You have to forgive the obtuse people that take GOOF courses like Journalism in college, playing for 4 years to get their worthless degree in Stupidity.
