Rubio introduced a bill to extend Title 42, but the Biden admin has asked the SC to stop it. However, the Biden admin did request a stay on Title 42 until Dec. 27th "to prepare for the surge" of millions of immigrants entering the US as soon as Title 42 ends.
Of course, this influx will significantly affect border states - but don't think you're safe if you live inland - more than 50 highly-funded NGOs are providing transportation throughout the US once immigrants enter the country.

You know President Biden was at the border earlier this month in December and he was asked by the Press if he was going to take some time and go down to the Border - you know, like maybe talk to the border patrol agents tell them how much they're loved and appreciated tell them how much they're needed and how sorry that he's making a more 16 18 hour days, how he's sorry to hear that many of their agents have committed suicide. He told the press that he was too busy there's more important things to do than go to the Border.
