I find that people that thrive on hopium and faith for a better future forget that they have a life to live now. They give up on trying to make everyday the best it can be. They believe their lives are shitty only because they focus so hard on what they don't have and want instead of on what they do have and need.

It hit this bottom a few months ago my friend, it’s extremely hard. I’m just now pulling myself out of it. I knew in my heart after the 2020 election we were in for a very hard four years. I told myself it had to be this way. I told myself I’d be strong throughout.
I didn’t make it 2 years. We all are suffering battle fatigue my friend, just know you have support from all of us. I know this for a fact. I’ve been where you are right now for months, and I’ve received so much support, and they soldiered on in my stead. It’s a lovely thing.
You’re right, know one is going to save us, do the work for us. It’s on us, we have to unmake the bed previous generations have made. Take your time friend, get your head right, and when you’re ready, get back in the fight. We all love you brother.
