And how does this stop us from moving into a digital system that will imprison every human until the end of the earth? The cryptp-lefitist deserves what he got. Snowden was working with PO (who owns all those NSA docs, BTW - but no one mentions that.)
Assange is the only one of the three that as any remnant of credibility, and what has happened to him is wrong.
Aaron Swartz was a truly good soul who, IMO, was killed. Of course, it would be silly to think MIT Media Lab was in any way connected. Utterly silly.
I appreciate your contributions, INever, and my comments aren't directed at you.
I think Swartz was killed too -- but his crime wasn't anything that significant. Odd. Very odd.
And wow, I had no idea Assange is connected to PO. UFB!!
Unless his "crime" wasn't about making documents publicly available but about something he came across in the process - like MIT Media Lab's ties to Epstein and all that entails.
Ah, I didn't think of that. When Swartz died, Epstein wasn't on the national radar......
Snowden is the one tied to PO. In fact, PO started the Intercept to acquire those docs, unless one wants to believe it was a happy coincidence that Greenwald just happened to want to leave The Guardian at the same time (which I do NOT.) Is it an accident that Snowden's boss at Booz (through which Snowden was contracted with NSA) became a PO fellow. I think not.
But now that you mention it, Assange also has PO connections. Assange and Barlow started Foundation for Freedom of the Press. PO started funding them and also funded wikileaks. I believe that the FFP funding was geared to a PO FFP takeover - which happened. Snowden still leads the FFP. Greenwald's time on FFPs board expired last year.
PO stopped funding wikileaks and FFP defunded Assange. Paypal, of which PO is the largest individual shareolder and the 3rd largest shareholder overall (with Blackrock and Vanguard holding the top two spots) also defunded JA.
Now, let's take it further and talk about the 4am talking points. How are those coordinated? By secure drop, right? Who created secure drop? Swartz and James Dolan who also committed suicide. Ironically, Swartz and Dolan named the software "Dead Drop." Upon their deaths, Dead Drop fell into the hands of another person working on the project, hacker Kevin Poulsen. Poulsen was asked to be a board member at FFP and took Dead Drop with him where it became Secure Drop. See how that happens?
Wow, thanks for the history lesson! Yeah, I forgot Q told us that Swartz is linked to that 4 AM drop box.
