Look how fast THIS lawsuit made it through the courts and guess what, they even had standing. First, the Reps hardly EVER file law suits and when they do they don't have standing or it takes 15 years to get through the courtS. IS THERE ANYONE LEFT WHO DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT WE ARE FUCKED?

A Georgia Superior Court Judge recently ordered Cobb County to extend its deadline for accepting absentee ballots to December 9th which is three days after voters hit the polls.

The decision comes after a lawsuit made its way to court claiming Georgia voter’s constitutional rights were violated when Cobb County residents, who had applied to receive absentee ballots, never received them.

Like abortion rights, late term voting looks like it's on the agenda. I wonder how many days after the election will be enough to change the outcome to the criminals liking?

This is how they rationalize this crap.

The real voters whose rights are violated are the ones who vote in person or apply early for absentee ballots.

What SHOULD be happening is holding accountable the people who failed to mail the ballots on time.

It also illustrates that the date for absentee ballot requests is set too close to the election date - 30 days in advance of an election sould be te cut-off for requests.

And, as usual, TGP, does an abysmal job of linking to the judge's decision. Lazy asses.

They only keep doing it because it works for them. This shit will continue until republicans start dumping entire tractor trailer loads of pre-printed ballots off at the very last minute. Then suddenly you will find the democrats becoming terribly interested in secure elections and voter ID.

The judge is a fat sheboon, as if you hadn't already guessed as much.
