If the Biden DOJ had a slam-dunk case against Trump, it would have already indicted him. By bringing in a special counsel, they are merely dragging out investigations to keep him under a legal cloud through the 2024 campaign cycle, and we will no doubt see tactical leaking from the special counsel probe at critical turns in the presidential race with Biden. Same M.O. as the leaky Mueller "collusion" probe, which was prolonged despite coming up short of evidence. The goal was to keep Trump under an ethical cloud and handicap his political mandate. This time, the goal is to scare away Trump voters and convince them they might be throwing away their vote on a candidate who could be indicted and convicted of crimes
