They are playing the long game to knock out DeSantis for 2028. DeSantis was the first Governor to pull back against the vaccine, then he pushed back hard against the mandates. Trump started this crap back in January, he called DeSantis a coward because DeSantis refused to say whether he took the booster. Yes DeSantis supported ERIK, but look at what has happened since then. DeSantis has done more to fight election fraud than any other Governor.or public official. Trump supporters love to repeat how Trump appoints deep state actors to shine a light on them. DeSantis took ERIK to task and defeated the cheaters way of cheating. The RINO endorsements being thrown at DeSantis are to fool Trump supporters into believing DeSantis is a RINO and working with the Bush’s. Those RINO endorsements are to hurt DeSantis and Qtards are falling hook line and sinker. The cheating only got worse since Biden took office. DeSantis has never said he wants to run in 2024 and Trump fueling the division is a very horrible thing to do. Trump supporters are too vested in thinking Trump can save us that they can’t see this for what it is! Divide and conquer, a nation divided cannot stand. I hate that it’s even possible that Trump could be capable of dividing the Republican base on purpose for selfish reasons or for any reason, but it is what it is, no matter what his reasons.

Your points are all valid. Certainly ones I have considered. I'm not a huge fan of DeSantis, thus my position. I think they've done a pretty good job of dividing both parties.

The Republican base is being divided and it didn’t have to happen. It sucks for Trump, harms his own candidacy for 2024, which he finally announced tonight. This is a real head scratcher.

I agree. Division is war. It definitely didn't have to be this way. The press gets behind DeSantis in ways they never got behind Trump. That is something I notice. That DeFuture headline was a bit too obvious. Here's hoping everyone gets this sorted out and unifies. We'll see. DeSantis has certainly made some smart decisions. Like I said, not my favorite but at this point I keep a sharp eye on everyone.
