That's my take. The people I know in NYC campaigned hard. I have one friend who constantly talks about everything not in the news in NYC. That city is fucked.

Fucked. They are absolutely screwed. I don't know if you know this but NY has has an "Exit Tax". They literally tax you for moving out of the state. Everyone I know there has been trying to ride this out because at first uncertainty, then covidshit, then politics and then finally with everything so high they don't want to have to move, buy a car, sell their property under value AND pay the exit tax. Hard choices. They have to make them,
