I can see why my wife got wound up. To my knowledge, it is not a count down to zero. It is how much reserve we have. They are still cranking out diesel fuel. Now a 25 day supply reserve is close to a crisis level because it can create spot shortages.

I heard an interview on the radio where the guest said that in a barrel of crude there is only 18 per cent of it that yields diesel. Let me say right here that few grasp the significance of diesel. No diesel no gas in the gas stations, no food in the grocery stores, to farm tractors, no school buses, no emergency units - ambulances, fire trucks, etc. basically everything we rely on to make society work. It's a mighty big deal if it's counting down from twenty days.

The real problem according to Forbes /PBS is that we’re still exporting large amounts to Europe because they’re our “Allies” so we can’t hurt them because they’re relying on our diesel since they cut Russia off(and we blew up the pipeline).

Let them freeze, our diesel should stay here. They also claim this will be good for us peasants, prices will increase so much, demand will drop and inflation will end.

Clown world, we all need food, heat etc. starving now ends inflation. I fear heads will get lopped this winter.

Filled up on Kerosene the other day. I always end up not needed it and just running the heater at the end of the winter to burn it up, but you never know!
