Glad to see the digital currency issue getting the attention it deserves. Given the recent changes made to the federal payment system (ACH) they clearly intend to roll this out ASAP. Once the new federal payment system is in place (which will be within the month,) it will be easy for the government to "pressure" entities to stop accepting cash. Given the number of entities reliant on ACH transactions, this goes a long way in moving us all into the digital system. They'll attempt to rationalize cashless by saying that no one uses cash anymore. We can do our part by boycotting businesses like Starbucks that no longer accept cash and using cash at every opportunity. Even better write "keep cash" on the bills to wake others up. EVERY candidate worth their salt should be warning the public about this.
