Agree - Too bad nearly everyone ignored this for years.
Too bad NONE of the public voices spoke/are speaking out about this and digital ID.
And TOO TOO bad that ALL of this get implemented without any say-so by American citizens - although I guess it is done with our implied consent.
When this gets implemented, we're done. Finished. Worse, we've placed every generation moving forward into inescapable slavery. So, let's be proud of ourselves for being the most stupid, selfish and short-sighted generation ever to grace this planet. May we all enjoy the government we deserve.
Well, you've heard my take on this but there are some upsides. One, stay out of the UBI and you'll be better off. Two, part of the problem with corruption is that dollars can but aren't traced. Fiat money bankrolls all of the worlds ills. Crypto is sold as an anonymous payment method and it can be that in some instances but blockchain records everything. It is literally what the name implies. A chain of blocks, each block recording the transaction. You know I agree with you on no public input but pointing out Wilson started this fiasco without asking and Nixon and every president in-between did so as well. Blockchain that is open source means that all transactions will be labeled. So those palettes of cash sent in the past will now be traceable. You and I have talked at length on this and we are all aware of the downsides but there is more to this puzzle. I am not positioning this as good. I am positioning to point out lots of moving parts.
I can't rationalize this as good in any way, shape or form bc I'm well aware of the people/entities involved. We shouldn't be making ANY decisions like this in a time of such uncertainty and unrest - and that is SPECIFICALLY WHY they're being made now.
BS that blockchain will be open source - they say that, but it's never true OS, and it won't matter anyway bc the people running all of this are criminals - fucking Accenture, Deloitee, Amamzon, Microsoft.
As I've maintained from the beginning, this implementation is my red line. After that, I'm eating a revolver.
I agree with all of these points.
