What are suggestions to do with money in the bank? And even cash on hand?
That is a hard call for me to make because I would not want to advise anyone to do something that fucks them. I would look at the market and especially here https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/there-is-now-a-federally-chartered-digital-asset-bank-in-the-u.s.-2021-01-13. This is the first federally chartered crypto bank and A LOT of companies are shifting here. That's how I found it. Companies are shifting massive amounts of money into crypto cold storage there. https://www.anchorage.com/ This is for companies only, not individuals. I'd think about converting dollars to a crypto you know isn't going the way of the dinosaur. I'd ride the wave and convert only when you're sure. I'd say to keep cash on hand but I think setting yourself up by having everything you need and paying a few months bills in advance is the better way to go. Let me think about this a little more. I don't talk about this with anyone so let me think on it.
Thank you for that. I've thought about Gold and Silver coins, but if the banks go crypto, who regulates and exchanges gold and silver for goods and payments of debt, utilities, fuel, groceries, etc.
Take this for what it's worth but this is my guess. People in the fintech sector have started making fun of "Biden bucks". I'm guessing this is a crypto UBI. I will always recommend hard assets like metals but this market is priced way outside of most people's reach and I could not in good faith recommend that now. What people need is cold storage for a crypto that stays in the game and increases. Things like Cardano are a good bet but it is not a utility token. I believe Bitcoin will either jack up out of everyone's price range or be phased out. Not a popular opinion. Whatever comes I don't think will last long. Maybe weeks to months but no longer. The problem is that three weeks to four months without food is a long time. For anyone prepared this can be a speed bump. These systems are already in place. Have been. My guess after staying up on all this is a gold backed crypto. Win Win for everyone in that sense. I do think cash is going the way of the dinosaur. Not all at once. It will be heavily incentivized to dump. The dollar is no longer in good standing worldwide. It's been that way since the turn of the century. Fiat paper currency is on the way out. In my opinion.
Keep an eye on me on here. I have been following this close for a long time. If I really feel people need to make a move then I'll make a post and ask for a sticky.
Tusd\trust token. Industrial scale currency onramp
That is an excellent suggestion.
