Hundreds of service members will see cuts to their Special Duty Assignment Pay, known as SDAP, in fiscal 2023 -- which starts Oct. 1. Those monthly payments, ranging from $75 to $450, were an extra incentive "to compensate enlisted service members who serve in duties which are extremely difficult,"
I don’t really care, this needed to be cut years ago. “Extremely difficult” means living like the other three branches of the military.
Even in garrison these idiots would get sdap pay for just being temporarily assigned to a army/marine/navy unit since the barracks and food weren’t up to Air Force “standards”.
And they weren’t quiet about it either they’d laugh at how much extra they were getting paid to train with us.
