This will run a generator and keep your fridge cold, and it uses anything combustible for fuel. i would suggest a wood chipper to process the wood,leaves,manure etc to feed it. Waste oil can be dripped in once it gets hot, the heat can be reclaimed with a heat exchanger to warm a small room. Solar doesnt work when the sun doesn't shine. It requires some welding and fab skills. I would suggest a generator with electric start as it takes a bit of cranking to get it started, a can of carb cleaner doesnt hurt either. Biogas is awesome, I somehow hadn't heard of it until recently. Seems cheap to make, plenty of DIY vids online and you can even compress it to burn for a stove. Very good stuff
